I have officially made my "Spice Tea" by SanMan a UFO...because I -hate- 1/2 stitches and just can't handle them right now..anyway..I do have 4 finishes this week. Now one is the January Bits that I'm doing a SAL with Elaine and Barb and 2 are the Blessings. I would have had the February Bit finished but I've had to frog (rip out) so much of it..I'm really mad and don't wanna look at it right now.

I do have quite a few finishes..but I feel like I'm a loser because of the February Bit!!!

I've been working on 3 projects this weekend. I've had the L*K Bits SAL, the SM "Spice Tea" and then I've picked up my 2nd piece of the L*K Blessings. I'm hoping to at least finish the "January" in the Bits before I start stitching the "February" for the SAL next Friday and I hope to get some good headway on the "Spice Tea" and the Blessings piece because that Blessings piece has been a UFO for a couple of months now. The L*K Bits is being stitched on SW Expressions "Blue Fusion" and the picture does not do it justice whatsoever! And the L*K Blessings piece is being done on SW Expressions "Sudden Storm"..it's a beautiful grayish color. Here's the Progress on all 3:

I am SO happy that I've got the 'mojo' back as Barb says!! This is my progress on the SanMan's "Spice Tea" after about 3 days of stitchng..I'm not saying I'm done stitching for the night tonight..but I wanted to get the picture taken before I fall asleep. Anyway..I'm happy I've got this much done on this piece. I am gonna be even happier when Elaine and I start the L*K Bits SAL!!!

Ok..after about 6 weeks on hiatus..I've actually stitched. It's a SAL between Elaine and myself..it's a SanMan pattern that we both love. I think I got quite a bit done but now it's time I call it quits for the night..I'm just exhausted.




I hope I can stitch at least some on Wednesday. I don't think I'll get any stitching done tomorrow because I have a doctor's appt and I find out the status of the cancer on my liver. Ugh!!

THANK GOODNESS!!! We are finally getting SOME rain..not much..but enough for us to want more. I think I heard the weather guy on the tv this morning saying this is the dryest July in many many years. I believe it. The temps haven't haven't been too bad..but it's just not raining. I went to set out some trash earlier and it was sprinkling..so we'll see.
I know everyone has heard about my cancer coming back..I'm doing good so far. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday the 24th for a checkup to see if the oral chemo (Xeloda) has done any good with the mass on my liver. We're hoping it's has gotten smaller..if not..I'm gonna go back to Alabama while I'm trying to fight it so I can be with my family..I do not wanna go through this again without them. I went through the treatments for the breast cancer by myself..I don't wanna do it this time by myself. Everyone says I'm so strong..bullshit..I'm just scared to let anyone see me break down..so it's more stubbornness and pride than strength.
Anyway..my Secret Sister from my yahoo stitching group CSF sent me some awesome presents this month..really makes me want to get motivated to get to stitching again. Right now I'm trying to organize all this crap I just moved into this house and hope I get the 'stitching itch' again here soon!! PRAY I do..cause I've got so much nice stuff from my SS to stitch!!
Anyway..sorry for the vent(sorta)..but this is MY Blog isn't it?! LOL

Here is a pic of the finished Blessing piece that I have..I'm currently working on a second piece. One is for my mom and other is for my sister for Christmas this year. I have the border and the titles done on the second piece..just need to stitch the pics.

I am so proud of myself..I finished July within a weeks time..and I finished April in a couple day's time..actually it could have been in a day but I was falling asleep.





Now I'm hoping to get to stitch on my L*K Blessings piece..I've already finished one..but need to get this second finished. Christmas will be here before we know it!!

I am so ashamed it's taken me so long to post!! LOL
I have had a couple finishes. I finished May and June of the new L*K Bits!! I love the way they look..can't figure out how I wanna finish the 3rd set of them..I still have to stitch on the 1st and 2nd set..so I can get it all caught up!!
I can't find my beading needles to put the little buttons on just yet..but I'm still unpacking stuff every day..and finding new stash!! Or at least it's new again!!




Now I'll get start on the July Bit tonight when I get home from work!!

I have finally made it back to night shift at work..and I love it! It's so much more relaxed than dayshift..all the bigwigs think they're too good to stay past five so we just kick our shoes off and do our jobs more comfortable!! I finally finished my March L*K Bits piece!! I haven't had a finish since I started back to work!! -does a happy dance- It's not big..but at least it's one marked off my challenge list!! Only 999 more to go! LOL

Well I haven't posted in a while. Let me catch you up to date. I started back to work on the 6th of February which I love being out and with people again! I haven't stitched much at all in the last 2 weeks which is driving me insane. I should be stitching now but I'm on the computer and watching "George Lopez" and then I'm planning on going to sleep. I'm just exhausted. I'm not sure if I'll make it in to work tomorrow because the roads are just horrible with the snow and ice. The city isn't out plowing roads..or at least the roads around our area. We got about 6 inches total with snow and ice. Trent and I stayed home today because we didn't want to risk our lives today. Anyway..I'm gonna wrap this up and go to sleep now. Have a good night!!
